Web Development · ISKCON · Eco-Village
Govinda’s at the Govardhan Ecovillage isn’t just a restaurant. It is prasadam—food offered first to Krishna, then offered to you. The website had to carry that weight without sounding like a brochure.
Overview
Spiritual Depth Doesn’t Load in 3 Seconds
Govardhan Ecovillage is a 100+ acre, UN WTO award-winning spiritual community founded by His Holiness Radhanath Swami—home to Govinda’s restaurant, a Kerala Ayurveda centre, a yoga school, 133 eco-stay rooms and a goshala. The old website didn’t communicate the scope of what GEV actually is, and its copy could have belonged to any spiritual restaurant in India.
We rebuilt the site around three pillars—the Restaurant, the Retreat and the Village—replacing generic wellness language with sacred, sensory copy, so the site feels like the ecovillage looks at dawn.

Built for Quiet Curiosity, Not Quick Scrolling
The site was built mobile-first with immersive full-bleed photography and a reading pace for someone genuinely, quietly curious—fast enough to load on varied networks, rich enough to feel like the place itself.
SEO was mapped to how people actually search: “spiritual retreat near Mumbai,” “vegetarian restaurant Wada,” and “yoga retreat Maharashtra,” not just “ISKCON Palghar.”

Donations & Seva
“
We had visitors tell us they booked their retreat because the website already felt like the ecovillage—that they could feel the atmosphere through the screen. That is exactly what we asked for.
